"I am strong, sexy, and I love my body"

“I am strong, sexy, and I love my body.”

I stared deep into my own eyes in the mirror as I said those words.

Then I said them again. And again.

I said them until I BELIEVED them.

Was it awkward as hell? YEP.

But one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the years of working to get unstuck and find confidence and love for my body again and success in my business - AFFIRMATIONS WORK.

That first sentence is an example of an affirmation.

It’s a word or sentence confirming something to be true.

If it makes you cringe a little to think of standing in front of a mirror and saying that about yourself…

Or if you’re rolling your eyes, thinking this can’t possibly be necessary…

Let me explain why you want to start doing this every day:

When we’re striving for a big goal, an affirmation can help take our minds into the conscious state of seeing ourselves reach that goal.

Beliefs are incredibly important when it comes to what we can actually accomplish!

And the way to change our beliefs is through repetition.

And when we say affirmations we can take it a step further by visualizing it - attaching emotion to it, and this becomes an important step to making the affirmation become a reality.

That’s why you want to practice these affirmations daily. Or even multiple times a day.

Will it feel awkward at first? Sure! Most new things feel a little strange until we get used to them, right?

Hard truth? It feels awkward because you don’t believe it to be true yet.

But wouldn’t you love to fully believe that you are strong and sexy? That you love your body?

Wouldn’t you love to believe that you are the best at what you do? Or that you can have everything you want?

Listen, I get it. I was pretty skeptical of this whole thing at first too.

But now I’m living proof that it works.

I start each day with this mindset ritual that has created incredible results in my life and the life of my clients.

Just pick two or three to start with. Keep them in the present tense. Like:

  • I am strong, lean and confident.

  • I am getting better every day.

  • I love my body.

I hope you decide to commit to this and prove to yourself you are capable of creating rapid results.

In fact, I’d love it if you’d comment below or email me and tell me which affirmations you’re committing to say to yourself each morning!
