My family always picks up a big crate of peaches when we do our Costco run. I love being able to eat something that’s delicious and good for you at the same time.
First of all, peaches are low in calories! A medium peach has about half the calories of a medium banana.
They’re also a great source of fiber. Fiber helps you feel full faster, plus it regulates blood sugar levels and keeps your cholesterol down.
A lot of people think of oranges as a great summer fruit… and a great source of Vitamin C. But did you know you can get a hefty dose of Vitamin C from a peach too?
I know we’re all thinking about the immune-boosting power of Vitamin C more than usual lately… so add some peaches to your grocery list this week to give you that boost.
