The one thing succesful people have in common

Did you know there is one main thing that almost all successful people have in common?

It doesn’t matter what kind of success we’re talking about… money, health, family, reaching goals…

Whatever it is, the #1 thing they have in common is ACCOUNTABILITY.

They have someone keeping them in check and helping them stay on track. Someone they regularly report back to so they can stay motivated and get it done.

Why do we need someone to help us with that? Why can’t we just be accountable to ourselves?

Because it’s just TOO EASY to fall into “blame, shame, and justification” mode.

Are you ready to get real with me for a sec?

Good. Let’s go…

If you’re not where you want to be in any area of your life, why is that? Think hard and search down deep.

Are you typically blaming others? Or blaming things around you?

We’re all facing different circumstances. I recognize that. But you have A CHOICE in how you view those circumstances. They don’t have to be an excuse.

Are they an obstacle? Sure. But not an excuse.

Be honest with yourself! Recognize those excuses. Acknowledge them. And choose to overcome.

Having someone hold you accountable to the good choices can be really powerful in helping you get over those obstacles.

A great place to start is figuring out your non-negotiables.

At what point will you have reached that “non-negotiable” standard… where you can’t stay on the current path? The point where a change becomes necessary to you.

Is it a certain number on the scale?

Is it walking a mile and feeling out of breath?

Is it feeling bad about yourself in a swimsuit?

Is it not being able to chase your kids? Or your grandkids?

If any of those ^^ things are a reality for you, (or whatever your version of the “non-negotiable” is), then maybe it’s time to get someone in your corner holding you accountable to making a real change in your life.

When bad things happen in our lives, it’s so easy to just want to blame that for our lack of action. But if you truly want to reach your goals, you need to look at those obstacles as gifts, shift your mindset, learn resiliency, and rise above.

Accountability helps you do all that!

You need someone to keep you going! What an incredible impact that would have on your life!
