Be. Do. Have.
I learned a life changing concept a few weeks ago and I can’t keep it to myself any longer.
I went to a business conference in Nashville earlier this year…
Because when you work for yourself, it’s really important to carve out time during the year to get around people who are learning and growing.
(Stay-at-home moms, you know what I’m talking about!)
You can feel like you’re going a little crazy when you’re alone in your own head, day in and day out.
I traveled with Lariah… so it was A LOT. A lot of money. A lot of planning to have someone to watch Lariah. A lot of putting things on hold at home.
But it was something I really had to do for myself and my business. And for YOU!
And I’m so happy I did.
One of the speakers talked about this concept of “Be. Do. Have.” And I knew I had to share it with you.
It can make all the difference in how we reach our goals.
A lot of the time we think “If I had X, then I could BE whatever I want to be. Then, if I could BE __, I could DO ___.”
So, for example, with our fitness…
If I had more time, then it would so much easier to go to the gym every day! And then I could be who I wanted to be… a fit person!
Or, if you had more money, you would finally get to travel more with your partner and be a happy couple.
But this is backwards.
We need to BE the person we want to be, even if we’re not there yet.
We need to DO whatever it takes to become that person.
THEN, we’ll HAVE the body we want, the life what want, whatever it is you want.
Can you actually reach a goal without BEing committed?
You can DO all of the things, but unless you first are BEING the person you want to be, you won’t ever Have what you want.
It might seem confusing at first, but it’s actually powerful and life changing.
I recommend you start by clearly defining what results you want. Then think about who you need to be to get those results.
Do you want to be the person who feels confident in anything they wear?
Do you want to be the person who shows up at the gym and works out regularly?
Do you want to be the person who sets a goal and actually reaches it?
