BOGA - Bootcamp + Yoga, FITNESS REIMAGINED

The fitness industry can be overwhelming and leave you feeling like you’re in a “fitness fog”. With the wide variety of workout programs to choose from, how can you possibly know you’re selecting the right workout program to maximize your fitness and health? Plus, with our busy schedules going to a gym is not always realistic!

I created Bootcamp Yoga, (BOGA) to solve this problem. I’ve tried CrossFit, Orange Theory, cycling, yoga, barre, pilates, the list goes on and on. But I never found anything that encompassed everything I needed or wanted in ONE workout. If I did a yoga class I was left feeling like I wanted to be drenched in sweat and lift something heavy, and if I lifted or did cardio I was left feeling stiff and uncomfortable.

I wanted a workout that would essentially do it all…

  • Challenge me cardiovascularly

  • Build strong lean muscle

  • Increase range of motion

  • Improve flexibility

  • Reduce injury risk

  • Connect my mind and body and leave me feeling refreshed

  • Be done from home

BOGA does just that! It’s a fusion of strength and cardio training

paired with yoga. This unique 40-minute virtual class will first work your whole body with weights and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), then move into yoga for the second half. You have access to the workouts videos anytime, anywhere.

Why Do We Need All Three? Strength, HIIT and Yoga

  1. Strength training helps increase muscle mass and bone density helping to reduce fractures and injury. As you gain more muscle your body burns more calories and helps us to reach physique goals, you know, nice toned arms in tank tops or a lifted butt in our bikinis.

  2. HIIT helps us to burn calories quickly, efficiently and burns more calories and fat, even after the workout is over. It also helps to build a healthy heart as we push in that anaerobic zone. You can do HIIT for 20 minutes and it can be more effective than jogging for an hour!

  3. Yoga helps our range of motion, flexibility, muscle imbalances, builds lean muscle, creates breath and body connection, promotes mindfulness and improves posture.

When paired together, these three are powerful!

If you are someone who always lifts or does cardio, yoga can help your range of motion, making your lifts more effective and can help even out muscle imbalances, preventing pain and injury.

If you are someone who always does yoga, adding HIIT and lifting into your routine can help you lose fat, weight and build muscle!

This is why everyone from the CrossFitter to a Yogi should try BOGA!

When Can I Start BOGA?

The great news is that I have a new BOGA class that kicks off Jan 6! This class is virtual, so participants are welcome from anywhere in the world. When you sign up, you will be invited to a private Facebook group where the workouts will be recorded and shared for your viewing.

Class will run for 4 weeks, Jan 6 - Feb 2, with two workouts shared with you at the beginning of each week. Each workout will be approximately 40 minutes long, 20 minutes of Strength/HITT and 20 minutes of Yoga. This class is designed to be done from anywhere you are, (at home or in the gym). All you will need is a pair of dumbbells for the Strength/HITT portion and a mat for yoga.

For the entirety of the class, you will have ongoing support from myself and Danielle, as well as access to our private Facebook community where we will encourage each other, share helpful fitness and nutrition tips.

The best part about the virtual BOGA class is the accountability, so you can truly start and finish something.

Plus, you don't need a gym and it’s done on your schedule!

If you want effective workouts you can do anytime, anywhere with a community to hold you accountable, click here to sign up for BOGA before classes start Jan 6.
